Sharing & Caring Sponsor Poker Chip

A sponsor is many things to us.  Trusted friend, Spiritual mentor, Life coach, and best friend.  The life we lead before getting sober is one of loneliness and despair.  We were headed for death, but not physical, the death was spiritual in nature.  We find our sponsor in sobriety and get to work.  They walk us through the 12 steps and share their experience, strength and hope with us.  Most importantly, our sponsors lead us into the loving hands of a higher power.   

This purple and pink heart entwined together medallion was created with gratitude in mind.  Two people come together in service. The gratefulness we all have for being brought back to life and sharing the incredible journey of sobriety with us.  The caring it takes to walk someone through the steps is one to be treasured.
